Hello, and welcome to the "Grazie Prego Kiss Kiss" Spangel Ficathon! I'm your mod,

lynnenne. This May marks the 5th anniversary of the broadcast of "The Girl in Question," the silliest, slashiest Spangel episode evah. Five years - that makes it almost retro enough to be cool! In honour of this retro-coolness,

kita0610 and I are inviting shippers and non-shippers alike to write Spangel fic.

1. Sign-ups are open to all. Everyone welcome, even non-shippers, as long as your fic is respectful of the pairing. (In other words, no character/ship bashing, please.) Please sign by leaving a comment below.

2. For this ficathon, we are inviting each author to write a fic of her/his own choosing. Prose, poetry, past fic, future fic, comics!verse, PG, NC-17, threesomes, foursomes, moresomes - anything goes, as long as there's some Spike/Angel subtext. Or, in this case, text. ;)

3. If you're the type of writer who prefers writing to a prompt, leave a note in your comment, and we'll throw your request open to the members for a list of prompts. Maybe Angel and Spike met up again a few more times between the submarine and Sunnydale? Maybe Spike's infamous "except that one" comment meant more than he let on? Maybe Angel was in Italy during the 50s? (Ciao!) I know our members will have many more suggestions.

4. You may post your finished fic in this community, to your own LJ, or both. If you post it to your own LJ, please leave a link in this community so our members can find it. Please join the community so you can post your fic and keep track of periodic updates.

5. The deadline for fics is April 30, 2009, so you'll have plenty of time to write. The master list will be posted on May 5, 2009, the annivesary date of TGiQ. And to encourage as many sign-ups as possible, there will be prizes! More on that later. :)
